Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
Ingredients
1 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. each cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg
3/4 c vegetable shortening
1 c granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 c light corn syrup
2 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
Directions
Set oven at 375. Mix dry ingredients. Cream shortening, sugar, egg, corn syrup, and melted chocolate. Add dry ingredients to the creamed mixture. Roll into 1″ balls and roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet and bake 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
