Quick Maple Icing
Ingredients
2 C. unsalted butter, room temperature
2 C. maple syrup
1/2 C. egg whites (4 or 5), at room temperature
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. bourbon
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups confectioners sugar, sifted
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
maple syrup
Directions
Sift confectioners sugar. Add and blend butter, salt, and vanilla. Beat in, to make spreadable consistency, maple syrup.
